This project focuses on retrofitting an existing concrete water tank with modern IoT technology, integrating it into the ICTnexus Smart Island LoRa® Network for enhanced monitoring and management. The retrofit involves adding a LoRaWAN® level sensor to the tank and a LoRaWAN® power meter to the existing pump system.
How we Completed
ICTnexus evaluated the existing concrete tank and pump system to determine optimal sensor placement and installation requirements. A submersible level sensor was lowered into the tank. The cable was securely fastened to provide an appropriate depth. The sensor’s cable was connected to a LoRaWAN® transmitter. The result was verified by a manual measurement.

The Mission
The primary objectives of this retrofit project were:

Final Results
The project was successfully completed, yielding the following outcomes:
